The Žitný Island area is rich in medicinal hot springs. The heated swimming pools offer the opportunity to swim year-round and enjoy recreation in the water, and particularly in the winter months swimming in warm water is pleasantly refreshing. Around the heated pools, there are plenty of opportunities for cycling, hiking, horseback riding and boating.

The aim of the GREEN WEEK series is to present new boating infrastructure built as part of the Szigetköze project on Žitný Island and to promote the offering of eco-tourism and its new brand for the general public in both countries. We have therefore also chosen one-day and multi-day offered experiences, which can be enjoyed as of the spring in caves on bicycles, rafts and a combination thereof.

Cycling on Žitný Island typically features a minimum altitude and is suitable for both recreational and demanding cyclists.
The terrain is also very diverse, and you can choose from asphalt and natural surfaces.
