Chapel of Count Esterházy (Bernolákovo)
This Baroque-classicist octagonal chapel is located in the northwest section of the château park in the village of Bernolákovo.
The chapel of St. Anne was ordered built by Count Esterházy in 1724 in memory of the saving of the Count’s children's lives during wars against the Turks. Only a small number of chapels of this type have been preserved in Slovakia.
The dominant feature of the interior is the altar with a picture of St. Anna Somotreta from the middle of the 18th century. It is a valuable piece of architecture and has a rich Baroque inventory from the second half of the 18th century.
